CURRICULUM

Cornerstone Academy’s curriculum is based on the tenets of individualized instruction and education of the whole child. Our differentiated curriculum is crafted for each individual student with their unique personality, needs, academic levels, and learning styles in mind. We believe learning experiences should engage and challenge students and that children learn at different paces and in different ways.

Through the dedication and skills of our gifted and passionate staff, each student is:

  • Encouraged to meet high expectations at a pace that is developmentally appropriate for each individual;
  • Helped to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills;
  • Provided with opportunities to overcome adversities and strive for her/his personal best;
  • Challenged to view the world through hands-on learning experiences in core academics, fine arts, technology, sciences, and physical education, along with generous unstructured outdoor play time;
  • Allowed to flourish—academically, socially, and emotionally—within a safe environment that celebrates the experience of childhood.
